The Newcastle Jockey Club is delighted to announce the re-signing of Australian Bloodstock as sponsors of the Group 3 Cameron Handicap for the 2021, 2022 and 2023 Spring Carnivals.
The strategic partnership between the NJC and Australian Bloodstock continues a long association between the two ‘Hunter heavyweights’ in what is a most successful and mutually beneficial relationship.
“We are excited to be partnered with NJC as both organisations continue to grow in stature and profile as industry leaders” said Jamie Lovett from Australian Bloodstock.
We want to see the club continue to grow and succeed as we have genuine skin in the game given our long-standing and significant relationship with Kris Lees – and being involved with a Black-type race with such a rich history as the Cameron Handicap is a massive bonus,” he added.
The NJC is preparing for its 2021 Spring Carnival as best it can and is hoping the current lockdown will end before mid-September – and the Club’s Chief Executive, Matt Benson, is staying positive,
“Fingers crossed the current situation will improve in the next week or two – but it is obviously out of the club’s control at this time. We are working on a few different scenarios and hoping we can deliver another first-class Carnival,” Benson said.
Having a major supporter and industry icon like Australian Bloodstock sign on again at such a crucial time is really heartening – and shows not only how genuine their commitment to local racing is, but how much faith they have in the club’s current trajectory and our ability to reward that loyalty,” he added.
Australian Bloodstock has enjoyed another stellar year on the track and are always looking for new owners to get involved in their syndication business – for more information go to www.australianbloodstock.com.au
