Blanc De Blanc is James McDonald’s only ride, and she is an odds-on favourite. The filly bolted in with her only trial and the short course looks ideal.

Saltaire is also on debut, and she won a recent Randwick trial.

Godolphin’s Los Padres has trialled okay.

Race 2- O’Neills Tyres Rutherford John Wade Class 1 Handicap 1880m

Kandos Cosmos was only beaten a length in the Group 3 Spring Stakes on this track last start. Two starts back the colt was placed at Warwick Farm and he is crying out for this trip.

Reginald has been placed at Randwick and Kembla recently and can lead.

Savanaci won well at Scone over the mile last start.

Race 3 – O’Neills Tyres Maitland 50 Years Provincial Maiden Plate 1300m

Diamond Tipped was a close fourth first up at Hawkesbury on November 9. He was placed in his only start on this track and he draws well.

Oblique has a new trainer and has been well backed.

The Wanderer has had a string of placings and can run well.

Race 4- O’Neills Tyres Rutherford Alan Scorse Memorial Maiden Handicap 1300m

Tragara is very consistent and has been placed in her past four starts. She was a close third at Canterbury last start, and in her previous three starts was placed on this track.

Nullify was stiff when runner up at Hawkesbury last start, and she now has seven placings from fifteen starts.

Skylight Song was narrowly beaten at Canterbury last start.

Sound Of Cannons has good form, and two starts back was beaten a neck at Rosehill. He was outclassed in the Beaumont on The Hunter day, and he will relish the drop in class.

Rosie Impact won well at Hawkesbury last start and has a chance.

The front running stayer Sky Ace could be hard to run down.

Flying Shelly has won her past three trials and is on debut over the short course.

Leopardess has been placed in her two trials and has some high-profile owners.

Angel Fund is a first starter, and she has won her only three trials.

Race 7- O’Neills Tyres Maitland Jim O’Neill Memorial Midway Class 1 Handicap 1400m

Superargo was narrowly beaten at Wyong last start and three starts back he was successful at Hawkesbury. The gun apprentice Anna Roper has the mount, and she claims 3kg.

Gendarmerie led all the way at Hawkesbury last start while Rockbarton Ruby races well on this track.

Baden Road is unbeaten in two starts on this track and she was beaten less than a length at Kembla first up. She has won second up in the past.

Sequana was placed second up here recently, and Pacheco is racing well.
