Race 1 Newcastle Cystic Fibrosis Race Day Maiden Plate 1600m

Almighty was placed behind two star two year olds at Rosehill last start. He was three wide no cover two starts back on this track when runner up. He is well placed here and should win.

Sacred Edge has been placed in his past four starts and he is the main threat.

Social Element was a close second in his only start at Hawkesbury recently.

Race 2 Prophase Electrical Solutions Class 2 Handicap 1600m

Seventhchic was a Warwick Farm winner in June and she has been placed in her past two starts at Wyong and Warwick Farm.  She was strong late at Wyong and the longer straight is to her advantage. There should be no excuses from the rails barrier.

Sensacova is chasing a hat trick of wins after fast finishing wins at Cessnock and Wyong.

Princess Pattern is racing well and she has a place chance.

Race 3 Metroll CG&E Benchmark 65 Handicap 1300m        

Osbourne Bulls was impressive in an easy win on debut on the Beaumont track on July 27. The longer trip will suit and he will sit off the speed form the rails barrier.

Better Be Good hasn’t been far away in his past two starts at Canterbury and on the Beaumont track.

Sassaby resumes on the back of a Gosford trial win.

Race 4 Peters Real Estate CG&E Maiden Handicap1200m

Sprinting To Win was narrowly beaten first up from a spell at Gosford three weeks ago. He was close up in a hot Maiden field at Canterbury on debut twelve months ago. He will race on the speed from the soft draw.

The Avenger is on debut from the Waller stable after an easy Rosehill trial win.

Devious has been racing well and has a chance.

Race 5 Robson Civil Projects Hunter Stayers Cup - Benchmark 66 Handicap 2900m

Saint Gerome is well weighted after the three kilogram claim for the talented apprentice. He has botled in with his last two starts at Newcaslte and Cesncok and he gives the inidication he will get the trop.

Serious Hoffa lef all the way for an easy win over 2600 at Gosford last start and if allowed to dictate up front he could be hard to catch.

Napoleon hasn’t’been far awa recently and he has a chance.

Race 6 Ocean & Lake Plumbing Maiden Handicap 900m      

Latin Boy is first up on the back of a nice Rosehill trial. He has been placed in four of his six starts and one of them was in a 900 at Cessnock where he was narrowly beaten by a smart one.

Meteor Gal is a first starter with two recent city trial wins.

Coroglen’s Victorian form is okay for this race.

Race 7 Wambo Coal F&M Benchmark 66 Handicap 1300m

Fancy Nickers has been knocking on the door with placings in her past four starts. She was placed in a very strong race on this track two starts back and she ran on when third in a quality Class 3 at Scone last start.

So Hard To Catch has led when placed in her past two starts at Kembla and she has a chance.

Smart As is first up and he wont wo on the trot when fresh last prep.

Race 8 Reward Hospitality F&M Maiden Handicap 1200m

Joy For Us missed the start when a close second on debut at Wyong on July 25. She won a trial prior to that run and filly will carry only 53 kilograms.

La Chatte has finished second in four of her six starts and she trialed impressively for this first up run.

Jawhara is bred to be good and her recent trial was okay.
