Race 1 Maddison Safety Industrial Supplies Class 2 900m

Designer Maid is a fast filly which led all the way for an easy win over this trip here first up.

She has won two from three and from the soft draw she will take some catching.

Invincible Lad resumes following a good barrier trial win and in the winter,  she won two ‘on the trot’ over the short course at Gosford and Kembla.

Rogue Runner is racing well and has a place chance.

Race 2 CSS Group Maiden Plate 1200m

First Reading as been placed in five of her seven starts and this is a winnable race.

She was narrowly beaten first up at Goulburn recently after racing on the speed.

The mare has the rails barrier and Kathy O’Hara makes a rare appearance at Newcastle on a Saturday to ride her.

Expierroment is a first up after a couple of trials and could sprint week fresh.

Crowd Surfer is limited but could fill a place.

Race 3 Thorzt Safety Maiden 1400m

Catagoric is ready to win after a solid second behind stablemate Smiling Manolito on this track last start.

This appears a weaker race and O’Hara rides stablemate Verve was an unplaced favourite on debut at Gosford recently and he can improve sharply on the big track.

Sytus was placed over the longer trips twice in August before a spell. He has had a recent trial and could sprint well.

Race 4 Scott Fire & Safety Benchmark 64 1850m

Wild About her comes off a strong 1600 metre win at Gosford last start and the 1850 metres should not be a problem.

Her Sire is a Kentucky Derby winner and her dam won an Oaks. She has raced well in two previous starts on the track.

Vihari was very unlucky over 1300 on this track two starts back and she will appreciate the longer trip.

Another Larga returned to form with a close second over 1600 here last start and he has won three races over the trip.

Race 5 Bolle safety Australia Maiden Plate 900m

Wonderbabe has only had the one start when beaten three lengths at Warwick Farm in August.

She raced in second place that day and the short course is ideal.

The filly won a recent Hawkesbury Trial and she has drawn nicely.

Quenya was placed at Hawkesbury last start in August and she won a recent Hawkesbury trial.

Solera was a beaten favourite at Cranbourne on debut in July but she trundled along okay at Warwick Farm recently.

Race 6 Osborn Law Maiden 1400m

Sazavee clearly has the best form. She has been placed in four of her six starts with two of the placings on metropolitan tracks.

She was run down and beaten two lengths first up here five weeks ago and has since trialled nicely.

Stablemate light exceed was placed on debut recently at Gosford and she has a chance.

Killer Instinct is on debut after a nice trial.

Race 7 Pro Safety Gear Newcastle Nobbys Benchmark 70 1200m

Art D’Amour has been placed in his last three starts. He was beaten on the post last start at Gosford and went down by less than a length two starts back on this track.

Oakfield Missile had very good form last prep and she resumes after a couple of trials.

Shelley Beach Road has a good record on the north coast and she should box seat from the rails barrier.

Race 8 Keith Maddison Class 1 1300m

Singing Sand didn’t have luck in the straight at Gosford last start and the blinkers go on.

She won first up at Warwick Farm in late October then was placed in a strong race at Rosehill second up.

Beidi is fitter for two runs this prep and he looked good in a recent trial.

Oakfield Captain resumes after a recent trial win on the track. She raced well on this track last prep.
