Race 1- Sharp Electronics Group Maiden Plate 1890m

Former European stayer Urbino has not raced for 45 weeks and he turns up here for his first Australian start for Kris Lees. The five-year-old has not had a trial however he has been backed in from $5 to $2, a good indication he is going well.

Royal Anthem has been placed in twelve of his seventeen starts and she is well weighted with the three-kilogram claim.

Devil Dan can run top four.

Race 2 – Prime Seven CG&E Class 1 Handicap 1500m

Jarhead didn’t do much first up after a spell, but this is a more suitable distance and he races well second up. He wasn’t beaten far at Randwick before a spell and he will be reunited with Josh Parr, his regular rider.

Arrogante had his chance when runner up at Tamworth last start but he has raced well at Newcastle.

Tiomo wasn’t far away on this track two starts back.

Race 3- Top Cut Foods Maiden 1500m

German stayer First Footman has his first Australian start after finishing second in five overseas starts. He hasn’t raced for 22 months but he was narrowly beaten in a recent Warwick Farm trial. Berry rides the import and 1500 first up is ideal.

Majella has been runner up in her only two starts at Newcastle and Kembla and she has a chance.

Joys Reward is ready to fire after two runs from a spell.

Race 4- Reward Hospitality Class 1 900m

Wayupinthesky is a quality three-year-old resuming from a spell and she is the best bet of the day. She resumes on the back of a nice trial. Last prep she was beaten 3½ lengths in the Group 2 Riesling and then won her Maiden at Warwick Farm.

Alison Of Tuffy is first up after a good trial and she raced okay last prep.

Dizzy Miss Lizzy could fill a place.

Race 5- Coastline Pools & Spas 3YO Maiden Plate 900m

Bovalino is on debut after a very easy trial win at Wyong. A well-bred son of golden Slipper winner Stratum, the colt will be ridden by Hugh Bowman.

Just Cosmos was placed at Eagle Farm in March and she bolted in a recent Wyong trial.

Hit The Rim is on debut after a nice trial.

Race 6- Sage Painting Class 1 1500m

Renalot looks hard to beat in an open race. She has finished close up in both starts this prep at Kembla and Wyong. The mare will appreciate the 1500 on the roomy track.

Love Delight bolted in first up for Kris Lees at Muswellbrook and she has had a trial since.

Elusive Nature was only beaten a length at Gosford second up and she will be fitter.

Race 7- Hungerford Hill Wines Maiden Plate 1300m

Vendeval is at good odds and he has an each-way chance, he had no luck at Gosford last start when beaten two lengths. He was going to be in the finish before being cut out in the straight.

Rancho Notorious was runner up at Warwick Farm last start and he had good form last prep.

Corporal has raced well on tis track

Race 8- Australian Bloodstock Benchmark 64 Handicap 1890m

Agosto is a talented European stayer in his second Australian start. He was very impressive in winning first up over un unsuitable 1500 at Kembla July 25. The step up in trip is ideal and Bowman rides again.

Parry Sound bolted in at Hawkesbury and he is a promising stayer.

Succendam is also a promising stayer.
