Hibiscus Lady is a brilliant speedster with three wins and a second from five starts. She was awesome first up at Gosford recently when she led all the way over 1000m. Last prep the mare bolted in on this track over this trip. Louise Day had her first ride on the mare last start, and she retains the ride.

Silver Melody has a place chance.

Selections:

1- Hibiscus Lady

2- Bentley Magic

3- Silver Melody

Race 2- Metroll F&M Benchmark 64 Handicap – 1300m

Black And Tan is racing well enough to win this race. She was only beaten a length on the Kensington track last start and two starts back she was less than a length from the winner at Warwick Farm. The mare is a strong finisher and she will appreciate the long straight.

Selections:

2- Black And Tan

Selections:

6- Great Danger

10- Invincible Dash

Just Cosmos bolted in in a Wyong trial two weeks back.

Selections:

9- Sangria

6- Kibibi

5- Just Cosmos

Race 5- Wambo Coal Peabody Energy Maiden Plate 1400m

Aytobe has his foot on the till after placings in three of his four starts. He finished strongly when second in an unsuitable 900 metre event at Scone first up. Last start he was again strong when placed at Warwick Farm over 1300m.

Moon Panther has been placed in both starts this prep and he was run down late at Scone.

War Cabinet won a recent Warwick Farm trial.

Selections:

1- Aytobe

3- Moon Panther

6- War Cabinet

Selections;

2- Hotel Amour

1- Kellstorm

4- Latin Light

Race 7- The Junction Hotel F&M Maiden 1200m

Natanya is first up and she was placed at Newcastle and Warwick Farm last prep.

Heart Of The Oak went okay when second on debut at Wyong recently

Selections: 1- Sunsuzie

3- Natanya

4- Heart Of The Oak

Race 8- Newcastle Spring Racing Carnival- September 20 & 21- Maiden 1200m

Famous, a regally bred colt could be too classy for this field. He hasn’t raced since a close second to Deep Sea on the Kensington track in April and he trialled nicely at Rosehill recently.

Somervell was well fancied when close up on the Kensington track in April and he comes off a respectable trial.

Version Two tried hard when runner up on debut at Gosford recently and he has a chance.

Selections;

3- Famous

7- Somervell

1- Version Two
