Race 2 The Royal Oak Hotel Cessnock Class 2 900m

Biscuit Time is a fast horse and he was a winner on this track over this trip in June. The gelding has finished fourth in his two starts this prep and should be at his top now.

Leogang blistered his rivals in a Scone Maiden on December 27 and he has a good chance.

Kitana looked good winning a Newcastle Maiden two weeks back.

Race 4 Tyrrells Wines Class 3 1150m

Buddy Honest failed first up at Randwick but expect a big improvement here if he starts. A bold front runner he led all the way to win a Rosehill Highway in July and he was narrowly beaten at Warwick Farm in the same month.

Cash Strapped has been placed in all three starts this prep and is ready to win.

Jackknife is racing well and will only carry 50 kilograms

Race 5 IGA Liquor Maiden Plate 900m

Cozursmart is knocking on the door and the filly is nicely in under the weight scale. She was placed in a Newcastle Maiden last start and she was narrowly beaten on this track in November. The rails barrier is a big plus and she has speed.

Bestowal showed speed on debut at Scone and Toffee Drop could improve with the blinkers on.

Race 6 Cessnock Leagues Club Maiden 1350m

Notting Hill was unlucky on debut and this is a nice race for the filly. She raced on the fence behind the leaders at Taree and she took too long to come out from behind them. When clear she flashed home.

Frogmarch was caught on the post at Taree last start in the same race as Notting Hill.

The Fox Effect has a place chance
