PUBLIC NOTICE
In line with the recent Racing NSW Media Release dated 16 March 2020 and in reference to Federal Government restrictions regarding public gatherings, all thoroughbred race meetings, barrier trials and trackwork at Newcastle Racecourse and Cessnock Racecourse will be closed to the public, and to non-essential industry participants until further notice.
Live racing at Newcastle Racecourse will be broadcast on Sky Channel and Sky Sports Radio and entry
to the course will be restricted to essential industry participants and officials only.
No on-course wagering facilities will be available and essential personnel will be required to
leave the racecourse after their horses have run.
Newcastle Jockey Club is committed to ensuring the health and safety of all industry participants
