RACE 1 – STARR FACILITIES SERVICES 3YO & UP MAIDEN HANDICAP 1400 Metres
Dunbrody Power is knocking on the door after two recent city placings and a fourth in the Gold Coast Magic Millions Maiden. This is a huge drop in class and the long straight gives her the opportunity to wind up as she normally gest back.
Royal Captain is a strong finisher and he was narrowly beaten on this track last start.
Dream Fields was run down late at Hawkesbury last start and he has a chance.

RACE 2 – MOET & CHANDON MAIDEN PLATE 1200 Metres
Oxford Bella had 16 months off the scene before an encouraging fourth at Hawkesbury first up last week. She was narrowly beaten at Warwick Farm and Hawkesbury last prep and she was slow out first up.
The Kiwi Vendella only raced three weeks ago in New Zealand where she has placed twice. Keep a watch on her.
Haunted Spirit just missed at Nowra last start.

RACE 3 – REWARD HOSPITALITY NEWCASTLE CLASS 1 & MAIDEN PLATE 2300 Metres
Shaman blitzed a moderate field by 7 ½ lengths at Gosford last start. He led all he way over 2100 and he missed the start that day. He was placed at Canterbury two runs back.
Eugenio ran on strong to win over 1800 at Hawkesbury last start and he is the main threat.
My Kings Counsel has been placed in his past four starts and he is a winner on this track.

RACE 4 – GUARDIAN SAFETY SOLUTIONS MAIDEN PLATE 1600 Metres
Former Victorian Elgin is set to win his first race for Kris Lees. A staying bred four-year-old Elgin steps up to the mile and he should have the ideal run from the rails barrier. Both runs since coming from Victoria have been full of merit.
Estroverto had no luck when placed on this track two starts back and he will appreciate the shorter trip.
King Of The Realm was narrowly beaten first up.

RACE 5 – KAM-COOL REFRIGERATION POSTHASTE – BENCHMARK 78 HANDICAP 900 Metres
Invincible Gangsta is the best horse in the race but he has to overcome a wide draw. He had no luck last start at Canterbury and he was beaten a nose at Canterbury two starts back. He bolted in at Gosford three starts back and he holds the Scone 900 metre record.
Don’t Tease Me is a short course specialist with blistering speed.
Nick On The Run and Dream Charge have place chances.

RACE 6 – PRIME SEVEN BEAUMONT HANDICAP 2YO 1400 Metres
Bullet Fly was on debut when a close third over 1200 metres at Warwick Farm on February 15. The colt will appreciate the 1400 metres on the spacious Newcastle track, but he has a tricky draw.
Fortress Command was a n easy winner on debut at Wyong recently and he is another which will appreciate this track.
Mesmer went well enough first up to finish in the placings here.

RACE 7 – SUEZ NEWCASTLE NEWMARKET HANDICAP [GROUP 3] 1400 Metres
Last year’s winner Lanciato has a great second up record and his first up run was outstanding. The wide barrier is no issue as he will go back to last and he has an amazing turn of foot.
Savatiano is a quality mare which was unlucky in the Group 3 Tibbie on this track in September. She was beaten less than half a length in a Group 2 at Rosehill first up and she has a good second up record.
Invincible Gem went okay first up and she is a Group 2 winner.

RACE 8 – PRO-RIDE SERVICES CONDITIONAL F&M BENCHMARK 64 HANDICAP 1200 Metres
Miss Redoble is the class runner and she loves a long straight. She won two on the trot at Hawkesbury and Scone in December and she wasn’t far away on this track first up.
Lonely Heart has been flying on Hunter Valley tracks and she will have a cosy run down the rails barrier.
Time And Again has a place chance from the soft barrier.
