    Race 1- Newcastle Commercial Properties Class 1 and Maiden Plate 2350m

    Extraordinary was very unlucky when narrowly beaten at Kembla last start. He made heavy contact at the 700m and was inconvenienced at the 200m. He protested unsuccessfully.

    Amazing Peace is flying on the Newcastle track with a win and a close third in her past two starts.

    Kaldero could fill a place

    Race 2- Collaborative Construction Solutions- Maiden Plate 900m

    Jaytees has been placed in four of five starts and is well placed here. He was beaten a length first up at Gosford recently. He races on the speed and he may even lead, and he raced well in his only second up run.

    Citrouille was beaten a nose on this track two weeks ago and she has drawn well.

    Honey Elysees is due for a change of luck

    Race 3- Central Finance Management Group – Class 2 Handicap 900m

    Lanigera races well here and he loves the short course. He has speed to burn and he bolted in here in June. He had good Victorian form earlier this year.

    Airwing has been struggling to find form but he is nice and fresh and has a good record on this track.

    Zeta’s Rocket has speed and could fill a place.

    Race 4- Joanne McLean Memorial- Newcastle Nobby’s Benchmark 70 Handicap 1200m

    Oakfield Twilight is flying and despite the big weight he should be too classy. He has won two of his last three and was gallant when he led inside the 100 in the Group 3 Cameron in September. Barrier 1 is a huge positive.

    Lucciola Bell will be fitter second up after a tough run first up.

    D’oro Rain wasn’t far away at Randwick last start.

    Race 5- Peter Buffier Pancreatic Cancer Research Benchmark 64 Handicap 1200m

    Palurien was impressive on a strong Newcastle win two weeks ago. Her metropolitan form was solid prior to the win and she will appreciate the long straight at Newcastle.

    Bombasay has put two wins together on country tracks and in his last run at Port Macquarie he sat three-wide without cover.

    Game Of Thorns resumes and he is talented.

    Race 6- Mayfield Ex-Services Club- Class 2 Handicap 1400m

    Pandano is in good form on the Newcastle track. After two close seconds on this track he was too good for a smart field here two weeks ago. He won’t be far off the speed.

    Calabasas will be fitter this time and he is capable of winning this race

    Hildalgo is quick and is in form

    Race 7- Auto One Warners Bay Benchmark 64 Handicap 1890m

    Nothing Too Hard has a fine record on this track, and he was back to his best in winning on this track last start. He appreciates the Newcastle track where he can wind up and he will get back and needs a good tempo.

    Plaisir is hard to catch but his last run here was full of merit.

    Continuation is a stayer which performed well first up

    Mercury has been gelded since his last run in June. He has always shown ability, and this could be is race.

    Atomic Pulse is on debut and has been trialling well.

    Hoystryke is another that has impressed in trials.
