Smoodge is a last start winner with a chance

    Selections:

    5 Purton                                              4 Achi Baba                                         6 Smoodge

Race 3 East Maitland Bowling Club Maiden Handicap 1200 Metres

Money Travels has a bad habit of missing the start however his last two wins at Gosford and Wyong have been full of merit

The longer trip and the by track are in his favour.

Atomic Sunrise is a big threat after a recent Randwick trial win. He was a lose fourth in his only start at Newcastle in December.

Arboreal was narrowly beaten here two starts back.

    Selections:

3 Money Travels                               4 Atomic Sunrise                              9 Arboreal

Race 4 Toronto Workers Maiden Plate 900m

Aloneinabaa is in a new stable and he won a recent trial by 5 lengths.

He raced okay in two starts for the Waterhouse–Bott stable and he could be too slick for these.

    Selections:

1 Aloneinabaa                                   11 State of Freedom                                       4 Swordsman

Race 5 Mex Club 2YO Maiden Plate 1200 Metres

This is a hot 2 year old event Aquitaine should have won at Canterbury two starts back and was again unlucky there last start.

Pixel Perfect found the 900 too short on debut here and the 1200 is ideal.

Papal Warrior was a close fourth at Canterbury first up and has a chance

    Selections:

10 Aquitaine                                      13 Pixel Perfect                                                7 Papal Warrior

Race 6 The Wests Group Class 1 Handicap 1500 Metres

Seel the Deel is very promising and he would have been a ‘good thing ‘beaten if he had not won on protest at Kemble last start.

The steps up to 1500 is a positive and he has 3 Kilogram claim for the promising apprentice.

Moana Jewel was slow away when close up at Hawkesbury last start.

The mare was narrowly beaten by a subsequent city winner on this track two starts back.

    Dodecanese has a place chance.

    Selections:

1 Seel the Deal                                  2 Moana Jewel                                                  6 Dodecanese

    Race 7 Belmont 16s Class 2 Handicap 1300 Metres

Singing Sand is a strong finisher crying out for a big track.

She came from well back when she won at Wyong three starts back and has been close up in recent start at Canterbury and Wyong.

Verlan will be fitter for this first up run and she is a winner here.

Rockin’ Ruga could fill a place.

    Selections:

2 Singing Sand                                   3 Verlan                                                               1 Rockin’ Ruga

    Selections:

14 Deliya                                              1 Deladies Boy                                                   3 Seeing is Believing
