Newcastle Racecourse, the largest provincial track in NSW, is proud to announce their new Marketing Campaign “Home Is Where The Track is”. The campaign seeks to bring the thrill and passion of horse racing to Newcastle, promoting the sport as an integral part of the Newcastle and surrounding communities.
“For us, the racecourse is not just a place to watch the horses thunder down the track. It’s a place that brings generations of families together. A place of shared memories and experiences. A place of anticipation and celebration. This is a place that is close to our hearts and truly runs in our veins. Newcastle Racecourse. Home is where the track is.”
The campaign will run through television, social media, Out Of Home media and promotional teams at the Newcastle supercars in mid-March this year. Through these channels, Newcastle Racecourse hopes to showcase the beauty of the sport and the special bond between the racecourse and its community. For over a century, Newcastle Racecourse has been a significant venue for thoroughbred racing, job creation and an advocate for numerous local charities including the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service and Variety the Children’s Charity. Newcastle Racecourse’s rich history within the Hunter Region dates back over a hundred years with several heritage listed sites within the course and has even hosted troop camps during both World Wars. If only the walls could talk!
Newcastle Racecourse hopes that this campaign will inspire all Novocastrians to join in on the fun, make their own memories trackside and pass the stories down to emerging generations.
