Race 1 – TLE Electrical Newcastle Maiden Handicap 900m
Light and Dark was never on the track first up at Hawkesbury and he was only beaten three quarters of a length. He had very good trial form prior to his debut run and has speed and has drawn well.
Torrid wasn’t far away at Kembla last start and the short course is ideal.
Mon Amore won a Newcastle trial recently.

Race 2 – TLE Celebrating 20YRS In Carrington 3YO Maiden Handicap 1400m
Invictus Felix has been placed in his last two starts at Hawkesbury. He missed the start and was held up in the straight when beaten a length last start. He ran on strong after a slow start when narrowly beaten two starts back.
Timely Shadow had no luck in the straight when beaten two lengths first up at Hawkesbury and she has a chance.
Alrillo raced greenly when fourth on debut here last start.

Race 3 – Sharp Electronics Group Maiden Plate 1860m
Space Is Deep gets the blinkers for the first time and this is a winnable race. She was bumped a number of times on the home turn and early in the straight when fifth on this track last start. She has been placed in three of her six starts and one was at Canterbury in February.
Rodrick’s Secret was unlucky last start and the longer trip suits.
Kippax was held up twice in the straight when fourth on this track last start.

Race 4 – Australian Bloodstock Benchmark 64 Handicap 2310m
A very open race with many chances. Prince Camelot was tough in a last start Cessnock win in which the runner up bolted in since. He will stay all day and only has a light weight and a nice barrier.
French Response races well here on his home track and can stay.
Joe’s Joy ran on strong on a heavy track at Kembla two starts back.

Race 5 – New Zealand Bloodstock Maiden Plate 1200m
Garrison has been gelded during his spell and he has a lot of class. Narrowly beaten on debut at Warwick Farm in March last year. He disappointed in three subsequent starts before a spell. He won a recent barrier trial by 5½ lengths.
Royal Marine was twice paced on Metropolitan tracks last winter and he won a recent trial.
Lake Marion is speedy and has a place chance.

Race 6 – Reward Hospitality Conditional Benchmark 70 Handicap 1200m
Call Me Mo was only beaten half a length in a quality race on this track on June 6. He was narrowly beaten on this track in August and he has drawn well.
Crimlet is fitter after two runs and has a clean and favourable barrier.
Mr Polar is a speedster with two recent wins and he will give them something to chase.

Race 7 – Red Funnel Class 1 Handicap 1200m
In A While bolted in first up on this track on June 6. She won a trial by a big space prior to that run. The mare had good Metropolitan form last prep and she has drawn well. She races on the speed and has less weight this time.
Quantico won a Canterbury Maiden in January and then place before a spell. He hasn’t drawn well but has had two trials and has class.
Awesome Lad resumes after a win in his only start at Gosford in January.

Race 8 – Yarraman Park Class 2 Handicap 1400m
Mercury is in good form and he loves this track. He bolted in here two starts back. Last start again on this track he stormed home to finish third, less than half a length from the smart Café Royal. Tom Sherry goes back on and the draw is ideal.
Amoretti was a Newcastle winner in May and has been placed twice since.
