Race 1 – Red Funnel Benchmark 64 2300m
Land Ahoy has her foot on the till after finishing strongly into third place over the Wyong Mile recently. She has always shown staying promise and she has the benefit of Reece Jones 2 kilogram claim. She is a winner on this track.
Daysan is a big threat and will appreciate the 2300m
Endorphins bolted in last start.

Race 2 – Payroll & HR Maiden Plate 900m
Six Again will resume here after two trials and has drawn perfectly. The mare was beaten 1.2 lengths in her only start at Hawksbury in April. The short course is ideal and she has speed.
Dragon’s Beauty was runner up first up on this track and she runs her best races here.
Airstrike has a place chance.

Race 3- Avid PM Benchmark 64 Handicap 900m
Jerle resumes after a twelve month break and he is trialling very well. In the Autumn of 2020, he finished third in the Group 3 Kindergarten and he had good Victorian form. The 4 year-old will benefit from a 2 kilogram claim.
Omar went well first up in a strong Taree race and Native Rock won impressively on this track last start.

Race 4 – Reward Hospitality Maiden Plate 1200.
Latin Lyric has been placed in five of thirteen starts but this is a winnable race. She was beaten a nose two starts back on the Kensington track. She races back in the field but the long straight is a positive. She has the rails barrier with Chad Lever in the saddle.
Poignant was placed in her only two starts in April and she won a recent Randwick trial.
Coudreau won a recent Rosehill trial and shows promise.

Race 5- Simnco Spa and Shop Maiden Plate 1200m
Leen Fox started twice in April for placings at Canterbury. This time in he hasn’t been far away in two runs on the Kensington track. He led last start and the 1200m may be more suitable.
Depiction has been trialling okay and Pacific Warrior wasn’t far away at Gosford on debut in August.

Born To Play is ultra-consistent with 7 placings from 9 starts this preparation. She has been placed in all four starts at Newcastle and was a good thing beaten here two starts back.
Mascherata, a brilliant Scone winner on debut will appreciate the spacious track and Onedayclosertoyou is very honest.

Race 7 – Charlestown Square Benchmark 68 Handicap 1400m
Dashing N Daring is ready to win after two eye-catching runs on this track this prep. He stormed home from the back both times and just needs luck.
Tim’s Principal races well here and he won a Scone trial recently.
Rich And Shameless should run well.

Race 8 – Rascal Burgers Benchmark 64 Handicap 1250m
Sammy won by more than 8 lengths at the last Newcastle meeting two weeks ago. He is talented and is more consistent now he has been gelded. Dylan Gibbons will claim 3 kilograms.
Previso is in great form and is a threat. While Arthur Francis is very promising.
