New Zealand filly Comme Bella Fille will improve after a creditable performance first up in Australia. She had a win and a placing in three New Zealand starts. The 3yr old now with John O’shea had her first Australian start at Wyong on April 29 and she was doing her best work late.
Sian is racing okay and Upscale has a chance.

Race 2- Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service Maiden Plate 1250m
Sur La Mer is at short odds and she looks the standout at the meeting. The filly was a ‘good thing’ beaten on debut at Newcastle on April 10 when badly held up in the straight. She was runner up at Warwick Farm last start.
Stablemate Volterra is first up and her only two placings have been second up.
Greek Star is on debut after an easy trial win

Carartie is knocking on the door with good performances in all three starts this prep. Her first up run at Gosford when a fast finishing second was an eye catcher. She was then placed at Kembla before going down by 2 ½ lengths in a much better race at the Hawkesbury stand alone.
Uncaged was narrowly beaten at Bathurst on debut before a nice trial while River Bobo won a decent trial.

Race 4 Newcastle Flower Studio Class 1 1250m
Leave Me Be has had two starts for Chris Waller and after being held up in the straight first up at Gosford, she won impressively at Wyong last start. She hit the line from midfield at Wyong and the 1250m on the big track will be ideal.
Scream and Shout stormed home to win first up at Goulburn recently and Global Queen was run down late first up at Kembla

Race 5- Ascend Trophies and Sales Benchmark 64 Handicap 1400m
Astero has a good record and has drawn well. He had a win and three placings last prep and he was a dominant first up winner at Hawkesbury first up recently.
Recondite won his last two starts last winter before a spell. He races well fresh and has a 2kg claim.
Tri Nations has placed in two of three starts on this track and he went well when runner up here first up.

Imported galloper Wicklow is trialing well enough to win this race. He had three runs in England for two placings and this is his first Australian start. He has trialed nicely in two Rosehill trials.
California Sky was runner up first up here and Carolina Fire is close to a win.

Race 7 Focused Event Thinking Conditional Benchmark 68 Handicap
Henschel is in good form and his career best performance was on this track two starts back. On April 22nd he raced away to win a strong Benchmark 66 on this track by 3 lengths. He was placed behind the flying Blondeau at the Gosford standalone meeting recently.
Resilient Star bolted in first up at Hawkesbury and Ranges won well first up on this track.
