Race 1 – Master Builders Insurance Brokers 3YO Maiden Handicap 900m
Dagon is first up and he is pretty quick. He was placed on debut on a heavy track at Kembla in April then failed at Scone. He led throughout to win a recent short course trial at Warrick Farm and Ash Morgan rides.
Love The Cube is on debut and is trialing well.
Defying showed speed in a recent Kembla trial.

Race 2 – NHS Benchmark 64 Handicap 900m
Markwell Dreamer has been runner up in three of seven Newcastle starts. In the spring he was narrowly beaten twice on the Kensington track and at Eagle Farm. He made up many lengths when beaten 2.25 lengths first up at Eagle Farm.
Procrastinator finished second over this course on February 3, and he has a good record on this track.
Asgoodasyouget had good form last prep.

Race 3 – Group Training Apprentices Benchmark 64 1890m
Jack Duggan is consistent and he can overcome a wide barrier. He came from the back to win at Gosford on New Years Eve. Two starts back he was placed at Canterbury. This is a nice race for him if he has cover.
Extreme Freedom is down in class following his Bega Cup run in which he was beaten 1.6 lengths.
Ideal Hero can run well.

Race 4 – Master Builders Association Maiden Plate 1890m
Alicrity will appreciate the longer trip after a strong finishing fourth, led, then 3 lengths from the winner in a classy Super Maiden on this track on February 3. He has run on well in all four starts this prep and he has drawn perfectly.
Irene’s Best was badly held up on this track last start and this trip is suitable.
Ahuriri has good enough form to test these.

Race 5 – Master Builders Insurance Brokers Super Maiden 1600m
Wymark is talented and is crying out for the mile. Draws well and has a 3 kilogram claim. He was unlucky when chopped out late in a good class Super maiden on this track last start. He ran in a Magic Millions at the Gold Coast carnival in January, was super and likes this track.
Omikami was not disgraced on debut then trialled nicely while Etched In Time has blinkers and can run well.

Race 6 – NHS Benchmark 64 1600m
Allhallowtide put the writing on the wall with a powerful finishing third first up on this track on February 3. The longer trip is more suitable and he has barrier one and the inform Alycia Collett has the mount. He races well second up and his form last prep was good enough to win this.
Mad Deel had no luck when a close second at Gosford recently and he is consistent.
Five Crowns second up run here was good and he loves this track.

Race 7 – Master Builders Group Training Apprentices Maiden 1200m
Nightcapped has been placed in both starts on this track and she can go forward. She held in well when runner up to a smart one on this track on February 3. All three starts have been over short courses but the 1200 metres should not be a problem.
Edited By was stiff when narrowly beaten at Wyong last start.

Race 8 – Master Builders Association Benchmark 68 1200m
Territory Express resumes here and he has a powerful finishing burst. He has four starts at Newcastle for two wins and a third. He is a back marker who loves to wind up down a long straight and a couple of his Randwick wins were very good. His recent trial performance was outstanding.
Mobstar closed late and was unlucky on this track while Filed Wiri is close to a win.
