Race 1 – Red Funnel Food Distributors Maiden Handicap 900m
Puerto Banus is knocking on the door with two close seconds in his past two starts. He was unlucky when beaten a head at Wyong lasts tart after securing a clear run late in the straight. Will need luck from the wide barrier.
Girls Weekend is very fast and is trialling well while Extreme Courage won a recent trial and has genuine speed.

Rose’s Legacy led all the way and bolted in on this track last start on December 1. The filly is lightly raced, and the longer trip should not pose a problem for the Kiwi bred 3-year-old.
Release Point has good country form against strong opposition and is crying out for this trip and the inform Jean Van Overmere has the mount.
Akkadian Emperor resumes and was placed in his only start on this track in May.

Race – 3- Rarity Wholesale Provincial Maiden Handicap 1800m
Think we’re There has been runner up in his past two starts at Taree and Scone and has an inside barrier. The 4-year-old came from near last when he powered home to go down by a long head at Taree on December 3 and he will appreciate the long straight on his home track.
Rinsed Enuff has led in her past two starts on Metropolitan tracks and was only beaten 1.5 lengths in a Rosehill Super Maiden two starts back.
Iconic Miss has a place chance

Race 4- Coastline Pools & Spas Christmas Plate Benchmark 64 Handicap 1600m
Strong Trade a Warwick farm Super Maiden winner first up on October 3 will be hard to beat with the 3-kilogram allowance. He has had a freshen up and hit the line late when narrowly beaten in a recent trial. The 1600m trip is ideal and the barrier is okay.
Luskaire rises in class after a four length all the way win on this track last start but can overcome the wide barrier.
Irish Bliss is very consistent and has a chance.

Race 5 – Dynamic Bradview Roofing Super Maiden Plate 1200m
This is a very classy Maiden field with many chances. Strandeel was narrowly beaten when an odds-on favourite in his only start at Hawkesbury in June. He has been very impressive in two recent trial wins and has a 3-kilogram claim with Olivia Chambers aboard.
Miss Jones trial form is very good, and she debuts with Jean Van Overmere to ride.
Railway Man won a recent trial and has barrier one.

Race 6 – River Realty Class 1 Midway Handicap 1200m
Monty Be Quick resumes after two nice recent trials. He is a front runner who went for a spell after a 5.5 lengths Kembla Maiden win. He was beaten a length in his Newcastle start in July and he starts from the rials barrier.
Apache Breeze should have won last start at Newcastle and River Pat raced well here in the past.

Race 7- A Plus Contracting & Poly Welding Benchmark 64 Handicap
Burj was impressive in winning on debut on this track on December 1. She had to take the field up to a tearaway leader and then held on and the experience would have done her good. Burj has again drawn nicely and Braith Nock rides again with his 3-kilogram allowance.
Bartolf is smart and wasn’t far away first up at Wyong.
Metallic Ruler was never off the bit in a recent trial win and has won two from three on this track.
