Race 1 – East Maitland Bowling Club Maiden Plate 1850m
So Newchee Thinks has put the writing on the wall with two solid runner-up performances recently. She was run down late by black type placegetter Waverley on this track last start on a Soft 7, and two starts back was beaten 1 ¼ lengths when second over the Wyong mile on a heavy track.
Son O’ War was placed on this track behind Waverley last start and Al Ras Blues will appreciate this trip.

Race 2 – Club Macquarie 2yo Maiden Handicap 1200m
Codetta, a half-sister to Victoria and ATC Derby winner Riff Rocket was responsible for an eye-catching performance when a fast finishing fourth on debut at this track on June 22. She was badly held up in the straight and was beaten 1.33 lengths on the heavy track.
Hell To Pay was well backed when a solid third on debut at Canterbury on June 19 and Flying Argyle is very quick and has been runner-up in all three starts on heavy tracks over the short course here.

Race 3 – Mex Club 2yo Maiden Handicap 1200m
Dark Gleam was slowly away and off heels at the 700m when placed second up on a Soft 5 track at Wyong on June 13. Two subsequent winners finished behind Dark Gleam, and he draws a nice barrier with Bullock to ride.
Lutetia is Coolmore born and owned, and she has won two trials while Neviim was very impressive in a recent trial.

Race 4 – Belmont 16’s Midway 2&3yo Maiden Handicap 900m
Yes Kiss is on debut after one trial at Gosford which she won impressively hard held. She has genuine speed, the barrier is a plus and Jeff Penza rides.
Sukida is another on debut and she bolted in with her only trial at Wyong on June 19. Lightly Sparkled has good trial form and is speedy.

Race 5 – Toronto Workers Club Super Maiden Plate 900m
Luna Field is a fast three-year-old undefeated in two recent trials at Warwick Farm and Rosehill. He had three starts earlier this year for placings at Wyong and Gosford and he won both recent trials easily.
Explosive Torpedo has not raced for twelve months but looked good winning a recent Rosehill trial on a heavy track. Limahuli is a Godolphin two-year-old resuming after two solid trials.

Race 6 – HBCF Pink Day Cup Benchmark 64 Handicap 900m
Soobooco landed a huge plunge on a heavy track over this course last start on June 22. He came from well back and bolted in by three lengths. After the 3kg claim he will carry 54.5kg and the barrier is ideal.
Bodgie has won five races, all on wet tracks and he is racing well while Outishka should lead and will be fitter second up.

Race 7 – The Wests Group Conditional Benchmark 68 Handicap 1400m
Spicy Hotpot the emergency gains a start from barrier three and the mare will be hard to beat. She led when beaten two lengths at Kembla last start and she was beaten less than a length at Kembla two starts back. She won a Class 1 on this track on a Soft 7 in April.
Osman is in good form and has a 3kg claim while Gold Pattern just missed at Kembla first up.

Race 8 – Club Charlestown Provincial Benchmark 64 Handicap 1300m
Spirit Of Storm has a good record on this track where she was a winner two starts back on a Heavy 10 on June 1. She shouldn’t be too far back from the positive barrier and the in-form Jean Van Overmeire has the mount.
Always In resumes after two trials and she was a Canterbury winner in February. Big Boy George is a winner here and was beaten a nose second up at Hawkesbury recently.

Race 9 – Beresfield Bowling Club Benchmark 64 Handicap 1600m
Fioprospero is crying out for 1600m after two eye-catching runs this preparation. He has no speed but is a powerful finisher. He has a win and three placings from five starts on this track and he races well on soft tracks.
Hellfire Express had good Canterbury form in January and is ready to improve third up. Exceed Perfection should lead and has a chance.
