Kenmare Bay is a lightly raced 3 year old which stepped up to the 1600 metre trip at Kembla last start and won impressively. He is bred to stay and two starts back was placed in a strong Newcastle 1400 metre Maiden. Sam Clipperton rides from the rails barrier.
Cosmic Lad is down in class and is ready to improve and Rockbarton Icon is racing well.
Selections: 3 – Kenmare Bay 1 – Cosmic Lad 2 – Rockbarton Icon

Selections: 6 – Magic Shadow 11 – Warilla Gorilla 4 – Ferghana
Race 5 – Davali Thoroughbreds 4YO&UP Mares Maiden Plate 1250m
Lady Ichikawa has had no luck this campaign and deserves a win with new rider Chad Schofield in the saddle. She was held up in the straight last start at Newcastle when placed and two starts back at Newcastle she came from near last to finish a close third. The mare has come up with the rails barrier.
Alice Mae’s fast finishing second at Taree first up on August 16 was an eye catcher.

Race 6 – NJC Supports Equimillion 2024 Midway 3YO Maiden Plate 1200m
Indecisive was very unlucky first up at Warwick Farm when beaten 1.76 lengths on August 21. He was a clear last during the race and when making good ground in the straight he was badly checked. He simply ran out of room and went to the line unextended.
Harlem Queen’s both starts have been full of merit and she won a recent Scone trial.
Marais has been placed in all four starts.
Selections: 1 – Indecisive 6 – Harlem Queen 2 – Marais
Race 7 – Dailey Family Funerals Benchmark 64 Handicap 1200m
