
RACE 1 – LOVEY’S GROCERS IGA SUPER 2YO MAIDEN PLATE (900 METRES)
Mednyi is very quick and shared the lead when beaten less than a length first up on this track on February 15. In his only other start in a Listed race at Caulfield in October the colt led in the straight when beaten 3.8 lengths. He has a lovely inside barrier and has a 2KG allowance.
Gambler has finished down the course after leading in the recent Silver Slipper and he also has speed to burn
Bourbon Queen is on debut, but trials are okay.

RACE 2 – BELL RIVER THOROUGHBREDS 3YO&UP MAIDEN HANDICAP (900 METRES)
Capital Dancer resumes on a track where she has been placed in all four starts. The filly is very fast and if it’s a good 4 track as expected it will be the first time she hasn’t raced on a rain affected track.
Rare Moon was narrowly beaten at Hawkesbury last start and Tosmain has placed in two of three starts.

RACE 3 – URBAN ANGUS MIDWAY CLASS 1 & MAIDEN PLATE (1850 METRES)
Think We’re There runs his best races at Newcastle where he has a win and a second from two starts. He was an easy winner over this trip on January 25 and he was only 1.27 lengths from the winner at Canterbury on New Years day. The stable is in-form and Keagan Lathan has the mount.
Gwendie was narrowly beaten on this track last start after a Kembla win two starts back.
Webejamin was narrowly beaten on this track two starts back.

RACE 4 – DILLON & SONS REAL ESTATE DUNGOG DASH PROVINCIAL BENCHMARK 68 HANDICAP (900 METRES)
Altercation will be at good odds and her recent metropolitan form points to a bold showing despite a wide barrier. She was narrowly beaten at Randwick on Boxing Day and was placed on the Kensington track on January 15. The mare does race midfiled or worse but has a strong finishing burst.
Zoe Shark loves this track with a record of 2 wins and 4 placings form 7 starts and she is quick.
Curl Curl is another which has good Newcastle record.

RACE 5 – CANGON STUD FARM BENCHMARK 64 HANDICAP (1300 METRES)
Godolphin mare Rip Off put the writing on the wall when runner up to the talented Mogul Monarch first up at Wyong on February 13. She has had three starts o this track for a win and a second and the longer trip on Saturday is ideal. The 4-year-old races well second up and is very consistent.
Puerto Banus is a winner on the track, and he has two wins and two placings from his past five starts.
Ollie’s Secret is in good form and can lead.

RACE 6 – SETTLERS ARMS DUNGOG CUP BENCHMARK 64 HANDICAP (1300 METRES)
Unconquerable has been placed in her last two starts at Kembla and the Kensington track. She is an on pace galloper from an inside barrier with a top jockey.
Anarita has to overcome a wide barrier but is down in class and should run well.
Medinah won first up on this track last start.

RACE 7 – POLYTRACK PROVINCIAL-MIDWAY CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFIER (1400 METRES)
Matcha Latte resumes here after a close second in the Group 3 Cameron handicap on this track in September. He has been twice placed in Group 2 events and is a front runner. His recent Rosehill trial was impressive, and he is well weighted.
Overriding was badly held up and was never clear in the recent Hawkesbury Qualifier and she has won four of five on this track.
Lord Of Biscay won the Ballina Cup last start and Northern Eyes won four on the trot last prep.
