Race 1 – Girls Day Out Women In Sport Maiden Plate 900m
Barracuda is resuming for his new trainer after two very impressive trials. His only start was in a $1/2 Million 2-year-old event in the Gold Coast when beaten 2 lengths in January 2024. He has genuine speed and led all the way to win a recent Warwick Farm barrier trial by 4 lengths.
Blanc De Noir has been placed in all four starts, two on city tracks and Ocean Joy had no luck first up when trapped wide.

Race 2 – Montgomery Homes Super Maiden Handicap 1500m
Sirius Legend caught the eye on debut when he came from last on the turn for a closing two lengths fourth on the Kensington track on January 22. He will benefit form gun apprentice Braith Nocks 2-kilogram allowance, and he will appreciate the long straight and longer trip.
Omnic has been placed in five of eight starts including two on this track and Bendrodt had luck first up.

Race 3 – Porter Hire Benchmark 68 Handicap 1400m
Rubi’s Serve has good form on this track where she has a win and four placings from six starts. She is backing up in seven days after having a luckless run in the latter stages when beaten 2.33 lengths on this track. The mare should enjoy a rails hugging run back in the field from the rails barrier and she is very strong late.
Rush Attack resumes after two trials, and he had two wins and two seconds before going for a spell.
Don’Tcha Think is consistent and is racing well.

Race 4 – Brian Sheeley Memorial Class 1 Handicap 1500m
An open race with the favourites last start winners on country tracks. Heron went to Nowra to lead all the way in a Maiden on a heavy track on January 12. Two starts back the filly was runner up to subsequent city winner Alliri on the Beaumont track.
Thebes was an easy Taree Maiden winner last start while Kembla trained Otono won an Orange Maiden last start.

Race 5 – Ryan Ansell Investment Solutions Maiden Handicap 1300m
Miss Jones deserves to break through following two runner up performances at Canterbury and Kembla in January. She is a speedy filly and led when beaten 1.88 lengths at Canterbury on January 17. Two starts back she was 1.3 lengths from the winner at Kembla.
Stablemate My Phar Lady was placed at Warwick Farm in October before a spell and Literature Tycoon had solid form before a spell.

Race 6 – Matthew Chisholm’s Birthday Benchmark 64 Handicap 900m
Curl Curl is a short course specialist with a good record over this trip. The 4-year-old has had six starts on this track for two wins and three placings and top apprentice Mollie Fitzgerald will claim 3 kilograms. It will be a fast run race, and he could swoop late.
Shall Be has two wins from three starts on this track and is a big threat while Zoe Shark is very quick.

Race 7 – Ra Super Class 1 Handicap 1300m
Hell To Pay drops sharply in class after finishing 3.9 lengths from the winner in the $3 Million Magic Millions Guineas on January 17. He was an easy winner of the $1/4 Million Magic Millions Maiden two starts back. He was placed behind the smart Codetta in his only Newcastle start in July and he has barrier 2 and a 3-kilogram allowance for Briath Nock.
Zounaka was narrowly beaten here last start and Summer Soiree is consistent.

Race 8 – Supporther Co Benchmark 64 Handicap 1600m
Rapbidash can mix her form and has no speed but has run some nice races on metropolitan tracks. She won her only start on this track and was only 1.27 lengths from the winner in a Benchmark 78 at Randwick on December 28.
Vivezza and Oakfield Prince should race well on this track.
