RACE 1 STEEL CITY FINANCIAL PLANNERS CLASS 2 900M
Kedah was impressive winning her only start at Muswellbrook in July. She won a Newcastle trial a month ago and the filly was given a quiet trial at Wyong on October 22.
Buckin Beauty has been in great form on this track where she was a good record over the short course.
Miss Gigi improved last start and she could fill a place.

RACE 2 HUNTER JAGUAR CLASS 1 1400M
Celer hit the line hard when beaten last start. He was near last in a big field to the turn before surging pace along the rail. He will love the 1400 metres and Gibbons goes aboard.
Oakfield Jet landed a long-priced plunge second up at Kembla and the extra trip is ideal.
Wild About Her is first up and she had good form last prep.

RACE 3 HUXLEY HILL GROUP MAIDEN 1500M
Oakfield Romance has been placed in seven of her nine starts including three placings at Newcastle. She races best on the roomy tracks like Newcastle and last start she was third across the line at Muswellbrook before protesting successfully against the winner. She was unlucky. The mare is only small and the 3kg claim is a big help.
Shen Gui is a huge player after storming home to just miss at Canberra and then impressive in a recent trial.
Smiling Manolito is first up and was only beaten a head at Warwick Farm in May.

RACE 4 THE GARIS GROUP MAIDEN PLATE 1850M
This is a wide-open affair. Former New Zealander Seven Falls was placed in three races across the Tasman before joining the Baker stable. First up over 1600 at Orange on October 15 he finished strongly to go down by a length. He is as stayer, so he will appreciate the extra trip.
Arlington magic is back in trip after finishing second over 2340 here two weeks back and he has a good chance in this field.
Black Consul had no luck last start but was close up on the post.

RACE 5 STEEL CITY MAIDEN PLATE 1200M
Mimic is a promising Lees trained filly resuming from a spell. She has only had two starts and has impressed in both. In June she was runner up in the Muswellbrook Red Crown and three weeks later she finished fourth in a strong Newcastle Maiden. The filly had had two recent trials and she bolted in with a recent Wyong trial.
Sazavee resumes on the back of a recent Warwick Farm trial win. Before a spell she was placed in four starts at Randwick, Kensington, Gosford and Newcastle. She normally leads, and the blinkers go on.
Gremlin caught the eye in a recent trial.

RACE 6 MCKANNA FABRICATION MAIDEN PLATE 1200M
Lucky Mission is a smart colt which will appreciate the roomy track after two placings at Gosford. He was never comfortable on the tighter Gosford track and it has been two months since he raced. He looked good in a recent Wyong trial win.
Monsieur Bronx is on debut after a brilliant Warwick Farm trial in which she showed genuine speed.
Fabricator had good form last prep and trialled nicely.

RACE 7 ROBERTS LEGAL NEWCASTLE NOBBYS BENCHMARK 70 1600M
Hermosa Reward will carry 51 ½ with the claim and she a good chance. The mare had good form before a five-week let up and she had a quiet trial recently.
Kulnura can be a handful as he can’t get upon the bit, however he will be on speed, but the 1600 is a query.
Neruda is in career best form and he has a chance.

RACE 8 ASPECT HUNTER SCHOOL BENCHMARK 64 1200M
Staraday resumes and she is smart. She won a Gosford Maiden by 4 ½ lengths in March and she stepped up in class to win at Wyong in April. The mare was very good in a recent trial.
Restrained was impressive winning on debut here two weeks ago and he has a good chance.
Radical Impact was beaten a head here last start.
