The Annual Cystic Fibrosis Race Day is fast approaching on Saturday 12 August.
Join Cystic Fibrosis for a fun filled day at the races raising much needed funds for John Hunter Children’s Hospital and John Hunter Hospital Cystic Fibrosis Clinics who support the families in the Hunter living with Cystic Fibrosis.
Cystic Fibrosis is an inherited, genetic condition that affects the lungs, digestive, sweat glands. It is the most common life- limiting, recessive genetic condition in Australia. Here in the Hunter we have over 200 children and Adults living with this debilitating condition.
At present there is no cure. Funds raised will also help Cystic Fibrosis Australia with ongoing research into Cystic Fibrosis.
The race day allows family and friends to enjoy a day at the races whilst fundraising through lots of raffles, silent and live auction prizes, photo booth to mention but a few of the activities on the day.
