Sir Winkle has been runner up in his only two starts at Tamworth and Port Macquarie and he should break through here. He is an on-pace runner and the blinker go on for the first time.
Derby Star had no luck when heavily backed at Tamworth last start and will go better.
Schemer will win a race again soon.

RACE 2 – PEDENS HOTEL BENCHMARK 58 1150M
Ondo Pasa found her best form when third behind the smart Tough Larry at Wyong last week. This is a huge drop in class for the mare and she has drawn soft.
Paolo led all the way for an easy win at Coffs Harbour last start and he could lead this field.
Cunningar Lass has a place chance.

RACE 3 – CESSNOCK ADVERTISER CLASS 2 HANDICAP 1570M
Da Power looked good when he raced away to win a Port Macquarie Maiden on January 25. That was only his second start and he will continue to improve.
Rugenbrau was narrowly beaten at Taree last start and three starts back he wasn’t far away in a strong Class 3 at Scone.
Harry And The Duke has won two of his last three and this is his home track.

RACE 4 – YARRAMAN PARK CLASS 1 900M
Gidgee Guy is fast short courser with his only win over 900 at Scone. He will hit the ground running and he hasn’t been far away in recent starts.
Penny Dreadful went well first up when placed here and she was an easy winner at Taree before a spell.
My Certain resumes without a trial and he has genuine speed.

RACE 5 – CESSNOCK LEAGUES CLUB MAIDEN PLATE 1150M
Gottabe Red is knocking on the door after two close seconds at Taree. She tried to lead all the way when beaten less than half a length at Taree on December 23. Last start she was beaten a head at Taree.
Hard Reality has been placed in two of the three starts this prep and he is a big player.
Super Cyclone has trialled well.

RACE 6 – EAST CESSNOCK BOWLING CLUB MAIDEN HANDICAP 1350M
Kentford has good form for this race. Two starts back he finished fourth two lengths behind Hemsted at Kembla and three starts back he finished fourth on the Kensington track.
Pulang Paula has been placed in four of five starts on the provincials and she was placed first up recently.
Commander Bell was narrowly beaten in a Gosford Maiden first up.

If Rouge Runner runs here, he will be hard to beat. His recent Gosford form is far superior to any this field can boast and he is an on pacer.
Red Notice is racing well and has the rails barrier.
Titus has a string of placings to his credit and went well first up.
